I never know what to do for Halloween, mostly because I never give myself enough time to fully flesh out a costume and I never want to do a half-assed job of it.

Last Halloween, I zipped around San Francisco dressed as Carmen San Diego. It almost didn’t happen, but I managed to find the perfect red fedora the weekend right before. 

This time around, I’m trying to think ahead.

Here are a few ideas:

• Robot
• Wyatt Earp
• Gypsy
• Catwoman (if I can find a proper jumpsuit)
• Neil Gaiman’s Death

I need more. I’m not too keen on the gypsy idea; it just seems like an easy costume to throw together. Same goes for Death, although I’d be more than happy to pull that one off. I could try being a mime again, especially if I find white makeup that doesn’t make my skin burn.
