This is why I love 30 Rock…. I am Liz Lemon.

i wonder why so many women identify with liz lemon. maybe it is because all females perceive themselves as less than fierce but not terribly ugly, sad and lonely but not too pathetic … and they’re probably mostly single, too. because liz lemon is truly the champion of a modern single woman.

As much as I enormously enjoy the show, I always feel sad for Liz. She’s incredibly successful and she’s obviously surrounded by so many people who love her, yet she’s never really allowed to be happy as she is. She must always be “fixed.”
