I do. Specifically about pop culture and television, and other things I might not normally stumble upon on my own.

For example, I don’t watch “True Blood.” I would catch little snippets whenever my roommate had it on the big TV in the living room, and I would only stay long enough to steal a glimpse of a shirtless man (because I seem to get more pervy with age). Now, with Tumblr, I don’t even need to catch these snippets. You Tumblr folks give me all the gifs I could ever need, and if I actually wanted to, I could piece together every episode from the explosion of TB posts every Sunday and Monday.

Oddly enough, it is Tumblr, more than Facebook or Twitter, that keeps me in touch with what is currently popular. For this, I am actually really grateful. Because of Tumblr, I am not totally in the dark when the people around me talk about Amnesia Eric or “Game of Thrones.”  

I have some idea. I know just enough.
