And now for a more frivolous post.
My birthday month ends in four days. It’s been filled with so much joy and I’m grateful for the people in my life who helped make it special.
My time at the Ocean View Branch came to an end on Nov. 7. My staff was so kind and threw me a little party.

I then spent my actual birthday in Las Vegas with a few friends. Admittedly, four days in Vegas was a bit much, but I still had a wonderful time. Some highlights!
My first day in my new role was right after Vegas. Everyone on the 3rd Floor has been so kind and welcoming. I am now the program manager of the Filipino American Center in the San Francisco Public Library. It’s a dream position that I’m excited to shape and grow.

The birthday shenanigans continued with my Excelsior Branch crew. We still get together for my birthday every year even though I left the branch in 2019. These are some of my favorite people and I love celebrating with them.

I’m kind of tired of going through all these photos, but it’s been nice to relive the recent past. I’m fortunate that the people in my life humor me when it comes to celebrating my birthday month.
