My happiness has rendered me almost utterly incapable of writing anything remotely coherent. Thus I shall resort to something a bit weak and simple.
“You’ve got this look I can’t describe,
you make me feel I’m alive,
when everything else is au fait,
without a doubt you’re on my side,
heaven has been away too long,
can’t find the words to write this song of your love…”
Ah. So I watched “Garden State” for the first time yesterday. And I must say, I was a bit disappointed. Perhaps it was hyped up so much by the people around me who have seen it. I didn’t much enjoy Natalie Portman’s character. I know she is supposed to be “quirky,” but I felt that she was just too. It felt forced and unnatural. It was an alright movie, over all. It had its cute moments, and I understand the ideas or “life-truths” that the film was trying to portray.
La-de-da. :]
