Sleep and I have lately been at odds with one another. My body, caught in the crossfire, is slowly readjusting itself to function on six or seven hours of rest.
It blows. I enjoy sleep. I relish it, but I can no longer sleep for half the day.

It took me a while to understand what that meant.
Change is inevitable, and catalysts may be just about anything. Those who refuse change, or refuse to accept it, pit themselves against something far beyond their insignificant lives.

I read somewhere that correctness in behavior is a cardinal virtue. This reminds me of the idea that one’s actions are a reflection of one’s values.
Batman put it this way: “It’s not who I am underneath, but what I do that defines me.”
Not quite the same thing.
