I write people out of my life fairly quickly.

My group of friends does not have a quick turnover rate, which makes me very fortunate, but I do have the ability to quickly and effectively cut off all ties with people if I deem it necessary to my well-being. At least, that is how I am these days.

It is remarkable for me to notice how selfish I am these days. I am not so selfish that my behavior proves detrimental to others, but ultimately it is my self-preservation, my success, that spurns on all my actions.
