My desktop computer has been out of commission for more than 2 months. Initially, I suspected my monitor was the culprit, but I hooked up my roommate’s monitor to my CPU and nothing happened. So, I took out the video card, checked it out, cleaned it a tad, and then returned it to its PCI express slot. It started working again. Huzzah, right?

My joy only lasted for a handful of days, and the card pooped out again.

Poop.

I bought a new video card and installed it, but it still won’t work. There goes my theory. I’ll likely fiddle with it for another couple of days, although at this point I don’t really have any other ideas.
