I have been wracking my brain trying to remember when he said that. Finally I popped in Volume 1 of the Batman: Animated Series; lo and behold, it was in an episode on the first disc!

It is Batman’s first encounter with the Scarecrow. Poisoned by a fear toxin, Batman/ Bruce is plagued by images of his father, who says he disapproves of what Bruce is doing to the family name. This insecurity almost incapacitates Batman, but he finally confronts it and retaliates with those words above.

Ah. Nancy bought me some yummy granola from the Farmer’s Market. I love her.
